DJ Ville Hultila treedt op 26 november op in De Burcht in Leiden tijdens de salon van Corazon Leiden, samen met zijn gelijknamige trio.
Op zondagavond 25 september van 14.00-18.00 weer een prachtige Zuid-Amerikaanse Corazón.
De muziek wordt verzorgd door DJ Lawrence. Hij zal mooie warme Zuid-Amerikaanse tanda's tevoorschijn toveren! En natuurlijk staan wij weer klaar bij de deur om iedereen welkom te heten.

WORKSHOP: GIROS with SACADAS (15.15-16.30). Registration:
Giros are one of the most used and most popular tools when dancing tango. They allow us to create a gorgeous interpretation of the music whilst remaining on the spot. Nevertheless, there are several different techniques to properly execute a smooth and perfectly calibrated giro. The technique of a giro with sacadas is, in itself, unique as it differs from all the other giro techniques. Why? What is the difference? What is the role of the leader and the follower? In this workshop Silvia and Roberto are going to take you in an exploring journey that, step-by-step, will answers all those questions. It will start with the basics of walking and turning, with a deep focus on the Embrace, Connection, and Technique of the upper and lower body. To then build it up into a well mastered and greatly controlled giro with sacadas together with its application on the dance floor. The workshop is suitable for: advanced dancers who want to explore a deeper technique of the giro with sacadas and intermediate dancers who want to refine the technique of the giro with sacadas and bring their tango to the next level. Registration in advance: couples or singles. Price of the workshop: 15 € per person
Silvia Mezzasoma has a long standing background in rhythmic gymnastic, ballet, modern and contemporary dance. She discovered Argentine Tango in 2006 and immediately started an intensive learning path of the tango culture and its expressions fostered by world renown Argentinian teachers. Since 2009 she has been teaching tango across Europe and performing at competitions, milongas, festivals, theatres and TV movies. Her structured and tailored teaching methodology, developed over more than 20 years, enables her students to achieve the beautifully elegant dance they are looking for. https://www.silviamezzasoma.com Roberto Rizzo has a long standing background in African dance, capoeira, 5 rhythms dance, Taoist techniques of meditation and bodywork. He came in contact with Argentine tango in 2003 and this dance touched him deeply. Tango is a great source of energy that takes Roberto into another dimension; the dimension of connectedness with everything and letting go of daily activities. By developing the different tango forms of expression Roberto helps his students to get in contact with their bodies and to learn to enjoy the talents and differences of their dance partner. https://www.tangoemocion.nl
